B) 22 carat is 91.7% gold- too soft still this is not considered suitable for jewelry
C) 18 carat is 75.0% gold- this is used successfully in fine jewelry
D) 14 carat is 58.3% gold- it was used successfully in all jewelry
E) 12 carat is 50.0% gold- not used for jewelry
F) 10 carat is 41.7% gold- this metal is the carat limit legally identify to be real gold in the United States of America.

White Gold
An alloy of gold and other white metals including silver and palladium are considered to be a white gold.
Nickel, as practiced was used in white gold but nickel is no longer used in white gold which were being made today because nickel was found to have cause some reactions to some who uses it. Rhodium instead is being used to coat white gold for some jewelries.
